Man lies in a pool of blood after shooting at a Trichardt tavern

It happened at around 7.30pm.

On arrival, the police found a 33-year-old man lying in a pool of blood. He was alive.

He told the police he was shot and had a wound in his lower left abdomen and in his left leg.

A 29-year-old man was a second victim and was wounded in his left leg.

Police said according to an eyewitness, the men were drinking beer and watching soccer when an argument broke out between the suspect and the first victim.

While he was shooting, a bullet hit the second victim.

The suspect left in a white Nissan Almera with an unknown registration number.

Police opened a case of attempted murder and are investigating.
