[WARNING] Be on the lookout for rocks placed on local roads

 

Secunda 911 warned vehicle owners to be on the lookout for rocks placed on the road when they travel on the N17 highway.

“Rocks have been removed by Sanral and emergency services. Please be careful as this have been happening all weekend, especially early mornings and late afternoons,” said Mr Roelof Gouws from Secunda 911.

Langamed South Ambulance Services said the roads that have been affected, are the N17 highway between Trichardt and Kinross, the road between Evander and eMbalenhle, the road between Evander and Secunda, the Trichardt road leading to the N17 past Albany Bakery and the R185.

Anyone with information about this, is urged to contact the local police station as people who place rocks on roads deliberately can face charges of attempted murder.
