Survival kit and documentation needed when visiting the licencing department in Secunda

Take these essentials with in case you have to wait five hours:

• Hat, umbrella, sunscreen or gazebo
• A lot of patience
• Food and drinks
• An empty bladder as no toilets are available
• A cell phone charger solar box
• Insect repellent

•  A chair

Documentation needed when renewing your driver’s licence:

• Certified copy of identification document
• Two identification photos
• Proof of residence
• Private eye test optional
• Enough cash
• A Black pen

Go early to get a number to avoid disappointment.
