Isibindi Project aims at holistic development of kids in Leandra

The park is a place for children to play in a secure and safe environment under the supervision of child and youth care workers.

The Isibindi Project team is passionate about ensuring the holistic development of children and the youth.

The project began five years ago and the aim is to create safe and well-nurtured communities.

They have 15 child and youth care workers.

Eight are still undergoing training and seven are qualified workers with two supervisors and one project manager.

The project is situated at the Thuthukani Centre and caters for children from birth to 18 years old, as well as youths from 19 to 24 years old.

The centre offers a park that allows a safe and monitored playing environment during the day and after school.
