Water crisis hits eMbalenhle

eMBALENHLE – The Govan Mbeki Municipality will dispatch water trucks to supply water following the water supply interruptions in the area.
The municipality said the interruptions are due to a major water pipe burst on the line that supply eMbalenhle from Kinross.
“The team is on site working towards finding the fault and repairing the pipe.
“This is a major job, as a result it will take time to repair.
“We are sourcing water carts to supply the public with water whilst repairs are underway,” said Mr Bheki Kubheka.

He urged those that do have water to try and save it in cans in case their taps run dry.

Make sure that all taps are tightly closed to avoid water damage should the line be fixed.
