Water woes continues in eMbalenhle

eMBALENHLE – Residents have been without water since Friday, 9 March.

Govan Mbeki Municipality said this was due to the major pipe burst in Kinross. Council has since dispatched water trucks to supply water to residents.

Mr Bheki Kubheka, acting chief of staff, said maintenance people and municipal officials worked night shift to fix the pipe.

“The pipe has been replaced and fully installed with concrete poured over it which should dry soon.  We are hopeful that the water flow would be restored before the target date of tomorrow.”
