Burglars target houses in Secunda at random hours

SECUNDA – Several house burglaries have urged the police to warn residents to be more vigilant.

Houses were burgled at random hours after criminals had gained entry by breaking burglar bars and forcing open windows.

According to Capt Bettina Zondo, Secunda Police spokesman, the burglars mainly stole electrical devices such as televisions and kitchen appliances.

She urged home owners to close all windows when they go out.
