EVANDER – A group of locals, Evander Police, AfriForum Jeug, AfriForum, learners of Laerskool Hoëveld and the community cleaned up big parts of Evander on Saturday, 4 August.

This action was part of a project initiated by Mr CJ Stuart and he said the project was a huge success.

Their next clean up action will be on Saturday, 18 August and anybody is welcome to take part and help clean up.

Mr Stuart now wants to begin a second project, namely Arrest your Boss, to improve the Evander Clean Up Project.

With the Arrest your Boss project, Mr Stuart and his group will arrest bosses and managers of companies and then request 10 workers or a financial donation in exchange for their freedom.

“We also want to get the schools involved and we will arrest school principals then they must give is 10 learners in exchange for their freedom,” said Mr Stuart.

He thanked all the businesses and individuals who contributed either by being there or supplying resources to help.

For more information about the next clean up action on 18 August, contact Mr Stuart at 062 989 5945.
