TRICHARDT – Several local gunmen took part in the sixth and last round of the Mpumalanga Practical Shooting League held at the Teksa Shooting Club range near Trichardt on Saturday, 6 October.
This competition from the International Practical Shooting Confederation was contested in three divisions, namely the open, the production and the standard division.
Pieter Bower from Northern Natal won the open division, followed by Johan de Beer from Witrivier and Fanie Pretorius from Teks was in third place.
The production division was won by Teks’ Protea marksman, Hendrik Engelbrecht.
Vincen Mortlock from Northern Natal was second and Ruan van Heerden of Teks in third place.
JC Potgieter from Piet Retief won the standard division.
Abrie Preller from Teks was second and Johnny Naude from Piet Retief ended third.
