Secunda Rally cars undergo final scrutineering

During the scrutineering event, the vehicles are comprehensively checked for a number of safety features. These include the obvious things such as the safety cage and safety harnesses, but also that the license disc is valid and the clothing of the driver and navigator are right.

Each rally vehicle must have the name and surname of each driver and co-driver on both rear windows as well as their blood type.

The first Mazda vehicle ever to take part in the Secunda Rally just arrived at Eastvaal Motors Secunda for its scrutineering. The Mazda 2 is driven by Greg Godrich and Chris Coertse.
