Baby escapes accident without injuries after car overturns on Kinross, Kriel road

A baby survived an accident when the car she and her mother were travelling in overturned between Kinross and Kriel on 8 August.

The mother was transported to Mediclinic Highveld with minor injuries.

Langamed Ambulance Services South who attended to the scene, posted this message on their Facebook page: “This is to show the importance of having a car seat fitted for your child.

“In this accident an 18-month-old girl was unharmed when the vehicle she and her mother were travelling in overturned.

“We would like to encourage all parents to use car seats, they really make a difference.”
